Where do I start?

Follow the stages below to see how easy it is to begin your building journey with Dimension Building.

Step 1

Contact Richard Phiskie to organise a “dreams to reality” consultation. In this consultation, we will make a plan on how we can best help you to achieve your goals.

Step 2

Consultation – As well as discussing and devising a plan of action this meeting is an opportunity for us to share our ideas and demonstrate how the Dimension Building experience is tailored specifically to you and your individual requirements.

Step 3

Dimension Building will create a rough concept plan, tailoring it to your individual needs until it meets your approval.

Step 4

Dimension Building will consider your plans and engage an architect or draughtsman who we think best suits your requirements, taste and individuality. We will work alongside both you and your chosen architect or draftsman to ensure your needs are meet within the designated budget.

Step 5

Dimension Building will organise a follow-up meeting for your concept plan approval and to discuss pricing sets.

Step 6

Once you have approved your concept plans Richard will produce a pre-luminary budget to ensure we are staying on track with total costings . Once this has your approval your architect will then push forward and produce a “pricing set” of plans. The pricing sets allow Richard to give a detailed breakdown of the actual costings and sums across the entire build and subtrades.

Step 7

Following your plans being approved by both parties, you will be asked to sign a contract. A deposit is payable at this point to secure your build date. Dimension Building will then submit your plans for Council approval.

Step 8

A start and finish date for your project will be issued as soon as Council approval is received.

Step 9

Our Director, Richard, will connect you with our app “buildertrend” which allows you to follow the build each step of the way. If you are unable to visit the building site, you may be comforted with the progress photos frequently uploaded by our site Foremen. This not only provides you with great sense of involvement, but is a unique way for us to document your dream build for future reference or share your progress with family and loved ones.

Step 10

Richard will be in contact well in advance of any further decisions, such as tiles or paint colours. Should you choose not to utilise an interior designer, we will offer our support and or guidance during this time.

Step 11

You are always welcome and encouraged to visit the site at any stage of the build. In addition to this, we will meet with you, at scheduled site meetings, to discuss our progress and talk you through the stages you are seeing on our app, “buildertrend”.
